DNA Sponsored 12 Local Families for the Holidays
December 14, 2020 – Happy Holidays from Dedicated Nursing Associates! The holiday season is an excellent time to get involved and give back. During these times, it is important to remember that there are families and members of our communities who may be struggling to make ends meet. Through local assistance organizations, we can help bring joy and relief to those individuals during the Holidays.
For the past 6 years, DNA offices have participated in an Adopt a Family program through charities local to our office locations. This year, we sponsored 12 families across Pennsylvania, Ohio and North Carolina.
Some of this year’s charity organizations included:
Westmoreland Community Action Program
The Children’s Home of Easton
Traditions of Pennsylvania
Habitat for Humanity
Family Abuse Center of Miami County
Nationwide Children’s Hospital
Hope Match
Many of our teams got together to shop the week of December 7th. Each department and office received a wish list for their respective family and went to their local stores or shopped online to purchase the gifts. Wish lists included items like Lego sets, fire truck playsets, Barbies, Frozen toys, clothing and more.
Controller, Amy S. said, “the Adopt A Family Program is an excellent way to support your communities, while also being a great team-building experience.”
All our team members were overjoyed to shop for local children and families and to give back to their communities during this Holiday season. We understand that the Holiday season in 2020 may be difficult for many, and we are grateful for organizations like those listed above. DNA hopes to have brought some Holiday cheer and happiness to these families during this time.
