DNA welcomes Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root with Dirk Miller to our 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic!

DNA will be holding our 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic benefiting the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation on Friday, June 17th, 2022.  We are excited to announce that Michael Glabicki of Rusted Root with Dirk Miller will be the headlining performance during the happy hour of this year’s dinner ceremony.

Michael Glabicki is a native of Pittsburgh who began his career in music by performing in local venues in the South Side area.  He is the mind and vision behind the popular and stylistic band Rusted Root, writing several hit songs, most notably “Send Me on My Way” which has been featured in many commercials and movies including Matilda and Ice Age.

The multi-platinum band out of Pittsburgh evolved from front-man Michael Glabicki’s distinct sound and style and grew into a musical entity that has thrived in a non-genre-specific category all its own. Rusted Root built their career around dramatic and powerful performances; their polyrhythmic, multicultural rock-and-soul sound picked up fans like a junkyard magnet as they toured across the nation.

Michael blends new material with old favorites of Rusted Root, performing re-envisioned versions in a more intimate setting with Rusted Root’s long-time guitar player and background vocalist, Dirk Miller.  They are excited to be back in Pittsburgh and performing for such a great cause.

DNA is proud to have such talented and passionate musicians perform at our 7th Annual Charity Golf Classic this year.  We hope that you will consider playing a part in this amazing event and assisting the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh Foundation in its charitable mission to improve the lives and well-being of the residents in the Pittsburgh area!
