Our Giveaway Winner!
Dedicated Nursing Associates, Inc.’s Nurses Win a Tesla contest was our 4th car giveaway! The contest was open to all nurses and nursing assistants across the United States. This contest is our way of showing our appreciation for healthcare workers and their tireless contributions and invaluable work!
On October 13th, 2023, Andrea H. from Ohio was randomly selected as the winner of our Nurses Win a Tesla contest which consisted of over 1,600 total entries! The DNA Marketing and STAR teams got together in the Murrysville office to reach out to Andrea and share the exciting news. Upon hearing that she had won the contest, Andrea exclaimed, “You’re kidding me, I’m speechless!”
The Marketing Team quickly started working with the Tesla dealership in Columbus, OH to find the perfect Deep Metallic Blue Tesla Model 3 for Andrea. On November 15th, 2023, we traveled to Columbus to present Andrea with her brand-new vehicle!
While with Andrea, we learned that she has been a nurse for 24 years and has been working for DNA since 2021! When Andrea was younger, she helped care for her great grandmother, who called Andrea her little helper. The time she spent caring for her great grandmother inspired her to become the nurse she is today. Andrea said she enjoys having the ability to help people and work with families.
When asked what advice she would give to nurses who are just beginning their careers, Andrea said, “Don’t give up! It is overwhelming at first, but it is totally worth it. The feeling that you get at the end of the day helping people and doing stuff that not everybody in the world gets to do is absolutely the best feeling in the world.”
The dealership's sales representative took a moment to guide Andrea through the ins and outs of her new Tesla, sharing a few tips and tricks to help acquaint her with all the features! After she got the hang of the basics, we asked her where she was headed first in her new car, and she said to the Cheesecake Factory for lunch with her wife!
Before driving off in her new Tesla, Andrea said, “Thank you, I cannot tell you how much this means to me.”
