Congratulations to our Rover Winner!

January 14, 2021 – From August of 2019 to August of 2020, Dedicated Nursing Associates (DNA) held a “Nurses Win a Rover” contest.  Like our first Lexus Giveaway in 2018 and 2019, our Rover contest was open for all nurses and nursing assistants to enter, throughout the United States. Nurses work hard each and every day to provide top care for their patients and residents, so DNA wanted to give back and recognize their dedication to the healthcare field, especially during the COVID-19 Pandemic. The year 2020 has hit the healthcare industry hard, and these devoted healthcare professionals have been on the front lines fighting to keep us safe. 

The Nurses Win a Rover Giveaway ended on August 1st, 2020, and our winner was chosen in September. Jessica H., from Ohatchee, Alabama, was randomly selected, out of over 6,000 entries to become the owner of a brand-new Range Rover Evoque. The DNA Marketing and STAR teams called Jessica to tell her the exciting news on September 16th, 2020. Jessica was overjoyed to hear she had been selected and was shocked to be the Rover winner.  

“What! Are you kidding me? I cannot believe this!” she said when learning she had won on the call. She was thrilled to hear she was our giveaway winner. 

Upon notifying Jessica that she was the winner of a 2020 Range Rover Evoque, DNA's Marketing team began working with Century Automotive in Huntsville, Alabama to custom-build her a brand new car. After deciding the exterior, interior and other custom options with Jessica, the order was placed and the car was set to be delivered just 3 months later in December. Jessica chose the Fuji White exterior with cloud-grained seats and bright aluminum trim for the interior features.

On December 16th, DNA’s Assistant Director of Marketing traveled to Huntsville, Alabama to deliver the custom-built Range Rover Evoque.

Jessica brought along her Mother, Father and Daughter to the dealership. She was so excited to show off her new car to the rest of her family, which was her first stop after picking up her new Range Rover Evoque - and learning how to use all the special programs in the vehicle! 

Jessica H. has been a nurse for 32 years and has worked in various specialties, including Neonatal Intensive Care, Preoperative, Recovery Room, Heart and Vascular Center and more.  

One of her favorite experiences was working in the Neonatal ICU, because “it was so special to see the families and babies grow and heal together.” 

Over the past 32 years, Jessica said “Nursing has changed so much with all of the latest findings in medical research and technological advances. However, the heart of nursing has never changed.”  

Nurses truly are the heart of healthcare and DNA is so thankful for all they do. We are hopeful that this giveaway shows our appreciation for nurses and all members of the healthcare field. DNA is so happy to recognize Jessica for all her hard work and for dedicating so much of her life to selflessly caring for others every day.
